Flamboyant Cuttlefish

A quick little video of an awesome Flamboyant Cuttlefish (Metasepia pfefferi). Warren shot this video on April 26th 2014,  at a dive site called Hairball in the Lembeh Strait (in North Sulawesi, Indonesia). This little guy was about 3 inches long and impossible to miss on the black sand bottom. He is certainly aptly named! He is also extremely poisonous, so careful not to touch! This species of cuttlefish is found in the Indo-Pacific region and is the only one known to walk on the seafloor.

Thank you to Warren for the video. Check out his awesome photo blog here for TONS of cool underwater pictures!
