Hey there, welcome to my blog! I’m a registered nurse, a book-nerd, and a scuba diving addict. I’ve always lived in Edmonton Alberta Canada but I’ve got a bit of a nomadic spirit and until now I’ve satisfied my urge to move around by changing apartments and neighborhoods quite regularly. But that’s just not cutting it anymore. Now that I’ve discovered diving I want nothing more than to travel the world and explore new places, new cultures and have one underwater adventure after another. Diving for me is a study in contradictions. It is serene and peaceful yet also thrilling and exciting. It is challenging and physically demanding but somehow gentle and natural too. It is everything I never knew I was missing. There is a whole other world beneath the waves and I feel so lucky to be able to explore it.
I’ve only been diving since January of 2011 and as a new diver I’m constantly learning what this sport is all about, how to be better at it, and how to do it safely. I am using this space to share my diving related excitements, discoveries, adventures, and pictures with all of you, as well as all the lessons I learn along the way. I hope you enjoy.
